“… We live in the vast earth, breathing inside this great mystery, having an immediate experience of co-creation in every moment …“
Description: This is the third in a three-part series of spontaneous conversations between Henry and David Abram. Henry begins with a reading from Becoming Animal and David reads a poem from Henry’s collection, Archangel. Henry and David continue to explore the sacredness of our human inter-being, or inter-breathing, with the animate earth. This generous and fertile conversation, once again, touches on the mystery of mind. We can discover that when we move our consciousness down into the body, as in Zen, our perceptions are not separate from the earth, the air, the stars, the walls, the rocks, the rain and thunder and, thus, are profoundly influenced by the moods of the land. We live in the vast earth, breathing inside this great mystery, having an immediate experience of co-creation in every moment.
NOTE: This is the 1st segment from the Sep 27th session. The 2nd segment from Sep 27th will be published next week – Thu Jun 28th.
