SUMMARY:Book Group with Scott Thornton and David Loy
DESCRIPTION:Each week\, local and online sangha members gather to dive into a book together in this informal book study guided by Assistant Sanbo Zen Teacher\, Scott Thornton. \nCurrent book: Loving the World as our own Body: Updating the Spiritual Path by David Loy (this book is forthcoming and not yet published. Email Grant Goulet if you plan to attend in May and need a copy of the book) \nThis is a great way to touch into diverse voices and peer support along your meditation path. Feel free to drop in any Wednesday\, to try out the group\, whether or not you’ve read the book. If you’d like to know what part of the book we’ll be discussing\, reach out to Scott. \nMeet the group in the Zendo in person\, or join online at sit.mountaincloud.org with password mountain22  \nUpcoming books: \nJune: The World Could be Otherwise: Imagination and the Bodhisattva Path by Norman Fischer
