Daylong Sit / Zazenkai – Saturday August 26 2023
Join Valerie Forstman and our Sangha
for a Zazenkai on Saturday August 26, 2023
As summer comes to a close, consider attending this full day of sitting, either online or in our zendo; devote a full day to your practice. If you are new to meditation and have never done a retreat (single or multi-day), a Zazenkai is a great way to get your feet wet with longer periods of silent sitting practice. The day consists of sitting and walking meditation. One or two movement sessions, a dharmatalk from Valerie and Q&A in the afternoon.
Experienced practitioners benefit from these daylong retreats which deepen practice. This Zazenkai will be both online and on-site. If you plan to come in person please bring your own lunch, tea will be provided. Also, be sure to read and follow our COVID-19 Protocols.
