The workshop provides Guided instruction by expert teacher Henry Shukman with breakout sessions on sustaining a personal practice, curriculum and school culture. Teams of two or more from the same school are strongly encouraged to attend! Please dress comfortably, casual clothes. Slip on shoes if possible
These workshop/retreats are offered by Rio Grande Mindfulness Institute (RGMI), a program of Mountain Cloud Zen Center. We are pleased to be able to offer Contemplative Fellowships (full scholarships) for educators by the Hemera Foundation to attend these workshop. Some are by invitation only others are on a first come first serve basis. If you are applying for a Scholarship, click here.
If you do not have a scholarship, we have a sliding fee scale. We operate on an honor code. We ask that you make an honest appraisal of your means. Morning coffee and tea and a sit-down lunch are part of a day that has proven to be of benefit, both personally and professionally, to educators in diverse settings.
$25 – covers the cost of lunch only
$50 – helps meet costs of lunch, facility and instruction
$75 – covers costs for one person
$100 – contributes to our scholarship program
