Sarah Giffin is currently a resident of MCZC. In this workshop, she offers experience from past work as group facilitator, educator, and learning designer and will draw on techniques learned as a practitioner of Theater of the Oppressed and as a student of the creative arts therapies. She has used what she calls “insightful play” to facilitate individual and interpersonal inquiry in a diversity of settings- from refugee camps to public school classrooms, corporate retreats to public protests, from health centers to art collectives. She believes PLAY allows us deeper access into an awareness of what is here, and her zen practice has ignited her curiosity into play as a tool for insight.
