SUMMARY:Original Love: Awakening Weekend Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Original Love – Awakening Weekend Workshop\nSaturday & Sunday\, November 19 – 20\, 2022\nWe will be exploring time honored techniques\, strategies\, tactics for approaching awakening.\nThere are things we can do to get glimpses of it\, things that can help us be likelier to have tastes of Awakening.    ~ Henry Shukman \nThis weekend is designed for all levels. We invite you to dive in\, whether you are new to meditation\, or many decades down the path…
Also if you have not attended the related six-week series\, you may still enroll for this weekend retreat and will find it deeply rewarding. It has much to offer all participants. \n \nThere are many meanings of the word awakening. We awaken each morning to a new day. We awaken to new ideas\, new perspectives\, new understandings of our psychology\, our relationships\, and of moral\, ethical\, political issues we may have been blind to. \nDuring this weekend\, we approach the “great matter” of Awakening\, as it’s understood in Buddhism and other contemplative wisdom traditions. Here\, to awaken is to be released from our ordinary sense of being a separate self\, and to discover another level of experience where we are part of everything. We discover a boundless openness\, a great peace\, and the “original love” at the heart of every moment. \nTo gather online and practice together\, developing patient  awareness\, becoming more comfortable with uncertainty\, releasing all we think we know\, can be one of the most beautiful things we ever do. To settle into a great openness\, and find we are held regardless\, can mark a significant change in our lives. \nIn this two-day weekend retreat\, we’re going to be exploring pathways towards this essential discovery. In some ways\, this is like exploring rooms in the house we’re living in. \nIf you have questions\, please contact jeremy@mountaincloud.org\, the Original Love Program Manager. \nFULL DETAILS AND REGISTRATION – CLICK HERE \nImage by Dimitris Vetsikas from Pixabay \n
