Para-Psychology Research Experiment

May 21, 2018 – May 25, 2018 all-day

Can the mind affect Matter?

Our experiment seeks to answer this question: can the mind affect matter?

Volunteers will be asked to ‘influence’ with their minds, a simple computer display built for this test. Participants will sign a consent form and answer a questionnaire before proceeding to the main experiment. The entire process will take 45 minutes.

Testing, performed under the oversight of Dr Grote, will be done at…

If you participated in this experience in December 2017 at Mountain Cloud, you may not do so again. However you can make some money by recruiting others!

For any person that you recruit, we will pay you $10. We cannot pay you to take the experiment for testing purposes. However, there is no limit to the number of people you can recruit, or the number of people your recruits can recruit!

The term Psi denotes anamalous phenomena that fall outside broadly accepted science. However, a small group of scientists continues to research psi-phenomena. These phenomena inlcude telepathy or psychokinesis. Psychokinetic experiments seek to answer this: Do mental states correlate with physical processes in a non-causal way?

Over the last several decades, increasingly complex studies have attempted to demonstrate psychokinesis. Most of that research finds a sort of psychokinetic effect. A mainstream of scientists largely reject these results. Reasons for rejection include a general bias against results that seemingly violate “common sense” and/or physical laws. Another difficutly is that reported effects are not always reproducible. Given these factor and the profound implications of such, more research seems important.

Study Conductor

Dr Hartmut Grote
Max-Planck-Institute for Gravitational Physics and Leibniz and University of Hanover, Germany

“I most work in the field of gravitational-wave detection. Last year at the LIGO laboratory, I helped to build and research the instruments that measured, for the first time, colliding black holes and neutron stars. For this reserach, three LIGO founders received the Nobel Prize for Physics.

Experiment Assistant and Contact

“I am the on-site manager at Mountain Cloud Zen Center. I don’t have a nobel prize, but I will be helping Dr Grote manage his experiment. Please let me know if you have any questions!”
