DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, March 4th  |  5:30–6:30 PM\nMeditation begins at 5:30 pm MT\, followed by the practice share and discussion at 6:00 pm MT \nLed by Abby Shepard\, this evening features meditation\, a brief practice share\, an opportunity to ask questions\, and a chance to share your experiences with practice. Abby’s practice share is titled\, “Acknowledgement and Action: Nothing Excluded.” \nAbby will share the most recent version of Mountain Cloud’s land acknowledgement\, the conversations and process that led to this point\, and the takeaways we can carry in our practice\, on and off the cushion. \nThese sessions are designed to enhance your practice and also provide an opportunity to connect with the local sangha community. This hybrid event is free and registration is not required. They’re also a community organizer and musician. Since encountering mindfulness meditation in 2018\, Abby has been passionate about weaving the practice into various areas of engagement\, from community organizing to music to program management. They are a 200-hour certified Skill in Action yoga facilitator\, and her practice spans multiple lineages in Yoga and Buddhism including Theravada\, Zen\, and the Eight-Limb Path of Yoga.
