In the place of our residential summer sesshin, we are offering a four-day Virtual Retreat, Thursday June 25 – Sunday June 28. As much as we’d love to swing open our physical zendo doors, the covid-19 situation continues to suggest otherwise.
Our upcoming retreat will be a chance to explore “Original Love” through deep meditation — the fundamental all-pervasive “Way” that manifests as each and every thing. There are various “levels” on which we can taste this love — not only in profound awakenings — and we will have a chance to experience some of these for ourselves. We will follow our usual format: a talk each morning, some Q&A in the afternoons, a little movement now and then to help our bodies, and a lot of deep heart-opening silent sitting…
This virtual retreat, led by Henry Shukman, is open to all, for any level of meditation practitioner. Join us for all four days, or for a single day or two.
Suggested payment is $100-$250, please pay generously if you can – to help us sustain our facilities and offerings – but we will also gladly accept any amount that you can reasonably afford. No one will be turned away.
We will have talks, Q&A, sitting together, simple and relaxing body practices,
meditation guidance, and plenty of open silent shared sitting.
