Last session we discussed Shitou’s “Song of the Grass Roof Hermitage” and this session, Saturday, April 27, 9:00 am – 10:00 am,  we’ll discuss his Sandokai or “Identity of Relative and Absolute.” We’ll also throw this William Blake into the mix, from “Auguries of Innocence,” for whatever sparks they strike against each other:

SocialiZen is an informal, lightly facilitated gathering to explore a Buddhist text, connect with the sangha, discuss your practice, and share stories, questions, and wisdom. The readings are more of a launching point for free conversation than for a narrowly focused study group. These gatherings are free and open to all, whether you’re new to Mountain Cloud or a longtime participant, whether you’re local to Santa Fe or joining from around the world. SocialiZen is always being co-created by its participants and continues to evolve from month to month. Your own visions for it are welcome!
