The Zen death.
If you’ve been through it, you know you have, even if you can’t say much about it. The consequences are clear. It happens at a moment in time. Yet, it is always this moment, now, that it shows itself as.
This world is a kind of game, a setup, where each of us is a player whose part is to discover the real rules of the game, rather than the apparent rules – that is the point of the game: to extricate ourselves from following the apparent rules, and start to discover the real rules, which can in time reveal to us the real nature of the whole game.
To awaken is to see through it all. It is to see that real nature. But then what?
Then we are not quite exempt from the game, even though it’s a game. Then we can play it knowing it’s a game. And without a care in the world for our stake in it. Our only concern is to support, serve, help others as needed. And perhaps to help them to see through it too, if that’s of interest to them.
